What is the purpose of this new Trust?
While Bharata leads in the IT services space, we’ve a growing gap between technological progress and the adoption of technology at our temples. This Trust is our way of giving back — an initiative to blend tradition with innovation, ensuring our cultural and spiritual heritage thrives in the modern age.
How can I volunteer my time or skills?
There are many ways you can get involved and contribute your expertise. We're seeking volunteers across the entire IT software lifecycle, including:
- Design & UX: Design System Specialists, UI/UX Designers
- Engineering: Developers (Web, Mobile App), Technical Leads, Software Architects
- Quality & Operations: Quality Assurance (QA) Professionals, DevOps Engineers
- Content & Research: Content Curators, Language Translators and individuals who can collect data and information about temples.
We highly value and encourage the use of open-source tools and technologies in all our projects.

Can I choose the project or task I want to work on?
Yes! We regularly publish available projects and tasks. You are free to choose any project or specific task that interests you. Once you select it, you'll simply agree on a delivery timeline with your coordinator.
Can I volunteer on weekends or in the evenings?
Absolutely. We don't have time restrictions. We just ask that you honor your commitments: attend scheduled meetings on time and notify your coordinator immediately if you are unable to meet an agreed-upon deadline or attend a meeting.
Do I have to volunteer regularly, or can I volunteer occasionally?
Occasional volunteering is welcome. You can certainly volunteer once or as tasks become available. However, if you join our technical foundation team, we request that you engage on a more regular basis. Either way, you'll pick from the list of available tasks and ensure completion within the timeline agreed upon with your coordinator.
Where is the volunteering work done?
You can volunteer remotely from your home at a time that works best for you.
